EastEnders star Maddy Hill has been announced as Rape Crisis England & Wales's first official ambassador.

Hill commented 'It's shocking how little we hear or talk about sexual abuse and rape and it's unjust how little support this truly amazing charity gets. If I can get young people talking about consent and healthy sex, if I can encourage one survivor to tell someone and find support, if I can help Rape Crisis get the essential funding it needs and deserves, I'll be very happy'.
